Donations, not sells[edit]

The article writes:". He also gave a new boost to exports by unilaterally lifting the Cuban blockade and selling one billion dollars in good to Cuba, including US-branded cars manufactured in Argentina (which the US had to accept after a threat to close all US car factories in Argentina)."

Well, these sells weren't sells, but in fact, they were donations to Fidel Castro. The article also doesn't tells that Argentine economy was in a terrible shape, during the rule of this bad man. Please, I don't support the Proceso, but Gelbard was terrible. Economic crisis, inflation, lack of products,etc. were the rule during 100% of Gelbard's rule.
