Minor Changes[edit]

The caption was obviously wrong so I deleted it. I also added that he plays piano. Might I add that a more recent picture might be a good idea. The picture up now is from before Pretty. Odd. was even released. Just a suggestion --DevilStar (talk) 02:53, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't "Panic! At the Disco" a very notable band? A new band member would at least be an assertion of notability. If it flies though, who knows. Irongargoyle 19:09, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First of all: What is Panic! At the Disco? I have never heard of them, and this article does not state that they are even a band, although that is assumed. The only context that the article gives for the supposed notability is that Jon Walker is supposedly a memeber of this band, and it provides no biographical information or any other claims to notability. Based on the article, Jon Walker does not meet the notability requirements for musicians.--digital_me(TalkˑContribs) 19:14, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I made it a redirect, as the article only comprised a section copied from the Panic! at the Disco article, no further information. But even if it did, he is not at all notable. --HarryCane 10:34, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Panic! at the Disco, is a band.. (I was having trouble finding out who the Band members were though, because of the change of bass players) a few of their most known songs are : I write sins not tragedies and The only difference Between Martrydom and Suicide is Press Coverage Gates54 19:08, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note... they're a lot more notable now after I Write Sins Not Tragedies and other songs got famous. This article is notable, and should not be deleted... fits WP:MUSIC. CattleGirl talk | e@ | review me! 08:06, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User Page[edit]

Jon Walker, just a note. I was viewing your user page and hit the revert using popups by mistake. AuburnPilot 16:38, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, apparently I can't read. AuburnPilot 16:38, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

Our town highschool, in Bartlett, Illinois, is where Jon Walker graduated from high school. I do have the yearbook from that year, and I found his picture. Should I put it in the article? Of course he's all clean cut and stuff, but a picture is a picture and I found one. And in regards to one of the questions below, yes the year he graduated is 2004. I just don't know if my picture is good or not, as he is a lot younger. Any comments? --Rebelkass 01:50, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would be cool to see what Jon looked like in 2004! AmieUrie 11:21, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Proposal[edit]

I've proposed a Panic! at the Disco Wikiproject here, to see how many people would be interested before starting one. The project would be an effort by a group of Wikipedians to build and improve all Panic! at the Disco pages (including members of the band, songs and albums). If you think that you'd be reguarly editing these pages, please put your name down at this page so we can see who would be interested in the project. Thanks in advance- CattleGirl talk | sign! 11:38, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

quality[edit]

Has anyone noticed this page is completely juvenile and seems to be the work of someone who doesn't like Jon Walker? The content is either confusing or nonsense. I think it needs to be cleaned up. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.86.102.208 (talk) 12:26, 2 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I agree but now alot of the livejornal people seem to be well... messing with the page for there own good so can someone clean this up so it no longer reads "JWALK IS A TOTAL HOTTIE" thanks.

Could someone change the picture or something so it doesn't seem so.... crude and offensive?

Thanks for the heads-up about the picture, I just changed it. Re:quality... this needs a major expansion... perhaps someone could write a biography? I'm looking for sources now. CattleGirl talk | sign! 03:11, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Age??[edit]

It lists this guy as being born in 1978.. but says that he graduated high school in 2004.. which would have made him about 26.... I dont think this is right?

You'd be surprised. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by So Good In Yellow (talkcontribs) 04:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Oh. Jon is 22 though. So i dont know what's up with that. He was born in 1985 though... AmieUrie 11:22, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dylan[edit]

Does anyone know what breed Jon's cat, Dylan, is?

I dont think he even knows....

I dont. But you could look at the picture from panicatthedisco.com in the photo albums because there's a picture of Dylan there. I'm no expert on cats though. AmieUrie 11:23, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What about Clover? AmieUrie (talk) 01:35, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think Dylan is an american shorthair, but I'm not sure. -Panic fan

this article should have more info[edit]

There.I explained it in the title. JazzlineB 18:40, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please put this picture in the article? I can't edit. File:Jonwalker.jpeg JazzlineB (talk) 05:03, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

pic[edit]

Jon Walker is my favorite member of Panic! and I know what he looks like pretty well. Whoever posted that image for his photo, are you sure that's him? I mean, it looks only a little like him. If I were newer to Wikipedia I would be confused. JazzlineB (talk) 06:24, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jon, have fun in the printer aisle, gratz on the success, saturday morning meetings suck ass. RJD DTH —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.201.62.168 (talk) 10:09, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

notability[edit]

While Jon is notable himself, a majority of the information here is not noteworthy and overall does not fit the appropriate wiki tone within the article. For example, I love hearing of Dylan but he fact that he has a cat isn't even remotely notable. This needs serious clean up.Oroneko (talk) 11:12, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

504 plan[edit]

I think there should be some more information on the band, including a link to their music (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=96404940) They were quite influential in the Chicago scene during their short existence. The band's name references Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. They used to play shows with Fall Out Boy (Jon and Nick currently are -and Tom WAS- signed to Decaydance records, a label headed by Pete Wentz, the bassist for the band, Fall Out Boy). Former members alongside Jon include Nick Scimeca (of Tequila Mockingbird), Mikey Russell (of Wax on Radio) and Tom Conrad (formerly of The Academy Is...) - full details on the site listed above.
