Thermal vision[edit]

I would appreciate if any expert could transform the values for thermal vision, with number of pixels required for DRI. E.g. detection = 2px, recognition = 8px and identifcation = 12px. However there are several pixel counts given on the internet. Therefore I don't want to add it to the article, because I'm not an expert--Optimike (talk) 08:43, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Johnson's paper online[edit]

I'm unable to find an online version of Johnson's 1958 paper. If you know one, the article would be greatly improved by it's addition. RSaunders 20:27, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Harney reference[edit]

The link provided for the Harney reference does not go to the paper. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.5.217.3 (talk) 03:09, 12 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Rename to "Johnson's criteria" (lowercase)[edit]

I request that the article be renamed "Johnson's criteria", with lowercase "criteria" as per Wikipedia's naming conventions for articles. --KYN (talk) 11:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly even simplify the title to "Johnson critera", without the 's. This form is also in common use and is a more common way of naming concepts related to a specific person. --KYN (talk) 12:51, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I verified that it's typically lowercase in books, and moved it. I agree that the non-possessive form is also about equally common in books; I didn't change that, but wouldn't object. Dicklyon (talk) 05:14, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

a woman versus a man[edit]

I don't believe, that this is a good example, because even at bright daylight and short distance I sometimes have problems to distinguish for an unknown person, whether it's a man or a woman. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Michilans (talkcontribs) 12:59, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
