In what city is the film set?[edit]
I have removed the category Films set in New York City because it seems pretty clear the film was not set there. For example, the police are never identified as NYPD. The casino seems very fancy, not covert at all; were there ever casinos like that operating openly in New York City? While watching the film I thought it might be Los Angeles. The airport is identified as "Municipal Airport" as I recall, which in the 1940s did seem to be one name of Laguardia Airport, but overall it seemed the intention of the filmmakers was not to specify in which city the movie is set. However I'd be interested in hearing any opposing viewpoints. --Mathew5000 (talk) 08:09, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
