Re "John 'Tadody' de Braose was probably born at Bramber in West Sussex."[edit]

This is not the place for "probably"s. If there's no reference for it, it should go. --Doug (talk) 19:45, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re "In June 1215 he was present for the signing of the Magna Carta."[edit]

This is unsourced and not likely to be true. It is contradicted by the statements on either side of it - that John was imprisoned from 1214 to 1218. --Doug (talk) 01:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re "having spent some time in the care of a surviving uncle Giles de Braose, Bishop of Hereford."[edit]

This should come before the imprisonment. Giles died in 1215. --Doug (talk) 01:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No responses[edit]

- so I'll make the above changes.--Doug (talk) 01:35, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mother birth date[edit]

...probably not 1175. Need to research more accurate date of birth. Probably 1183 or 1182, not earlier than 1181.Mahiselman (talk) 02:11, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

On the Wikipedia page for Richard de Clare, her father, Maud's birthdate is given as ca. 1184. Until a reference is found for a more accurate date it might be best, at least for consistency, to use the same date here. Doug (at Wiki) 10:07, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
