Further to comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dean, Smith & Grace - are you 'Maurice J. Halton', the author and assumed copyright holder here?
If you aren't, then it would be only fair to other editors ("!!!") that it appears to be your edits that added this copyvio. It still needs to go, but please don't make it appear so dramatic that it's any other editor's involvement.
If it was your copyright, then I'd remind you of the disclaimer and warning on any page - editing WP is an implicit license under GFDL, and this is irrevocable, whether you like it or not afterwards (it would be simply impossible to operate the project otherwise, as collaborative articles would remain under indefinite threat of permission withdrawal). There is a link to this article from Musgrave non-dead-centre engine, but in a grammatically incorrect sentence in the 'stationary engine' section.

I would have thought that the lede of that article should include a link to Musgrave's (the company) at the very least, and/or identify the particular Musgrave who invented it (seeing as how the name is included in the article title). However, since the History section suggests that the design originated for marine purposes by someone other than a Musgrave, maybe the article title is wrong too?

Musgrave's Customers[edit]

The statement that Musgrave made 504 engines "for textile mills in Lancashire" is not borne out by the reference given: p 244 in Hills. 504 is just the number of engines produced in total during that period. John Musgrave & Sons made engines for many industrial applications, and sold them internationally. I have modified accordingly. I would be interested if anyone knows the whereabouts of Musgrave's reference list, from which Hills got these data. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.144.195.112 (talk) 11:20, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
