Speedy delete[edit]

This shouldn't be speedily deleted, because this person was a town founder and a politician who served in the state assembly, which should make him notable.--GrapedApe (talk) 05:49, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CSD tag declined[edit]

I have seen GrapedApe's work before and in my wikitravels, he is usually a good contributor. In fact, when I hovered my mouse over his username right not to copy/paste it in this section, I saw a barnstar. I'm counting on you, GrapedApe. ----moreno oso (talk) 06:00, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, what do you know? GrapedApe came through as I knew he would. Not too shabby to see a DYK eight days later. ----moreno oso (talk) 00:04, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added a ref, uncertain[edit]

I just added a ref to Underground Railroad in Pennsylvania, which says that Canon purchased 12 acres in 1773. However, Canonburg, pp. 9-10 goes into more detail, saying that in 1780 he purchased 1,200 acres (and then sold it by small lots). Could it be that the added "12 acres" are an error in soure, instead of correct and only 1,200? East of Borschov (talk) 21:34, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
