Fugitive Takedown[edit]

Lack of notability? The section is probably writen by the author to promote the GTA rip off ZellDenver (talk) 14:08, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

neutrality[edit]

This article definitely does not fall into line with WP:NPOV but I am fairly reluctant to trim the article at the moment becaue it's already a fairly small article for a tv personality and a lot of the information can probably still be salvaged. Thygard - Talk - Contribs - Email ---- 09:13, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please specify your neutrality objections - it seems OK to me. Centrepull 21:15, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you take a look at the language it reads like a puff piece for him, not to mention much of it being opinionated and unsourced. Thygard - Talk - Contribs - Email ---- 01:05, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That editor wanted to make a statement. Well, the only statement he'll be making from now on is a statement to the judge -- from JAIL. Mobrienil 17:21, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I been cleaning it up over the past couple of weeks and I think the neutrality is restored. Im gonna remove the tag. If you feel it is still not NPOV, replace the tag and say why here - • The Giant Puffin • 21:30, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment request[edit]

I have requested a rating for this article. I suspect that it wont get higher than a "Start" article. Hopefully this rating will inspire more people to improve the article - • The Giant Puffin • 12:56, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yer right, puffin. POV problems, or at least a lot of stuff that needs citation as opinion from outside sources. needs expansion, especially on some of the basic biographical info. Mocko13 00:18, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I never said it was a good article, hence me requesting a rating. If you feel the article is so appauling, why not try and improve it yourself instead of jumping all over the place about it - • The Giant Puffin • 09:57, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quite right, I certainly found it informative enough. If you feel anything is missing, rather than argue with the author, why not improve it yourself?- Martin 1600

Lack of sources[edit]

There is a general lack of sources on the internet on John Bunnell. The vast majority of websites that mention him are fan sites, or simply a list of quotes - • The Giant Puffin • 13:31, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Planning to delete references[edit]

I will be removing the two references cited in this article but wanted to post here since the edit summary space is limited. The first reference, dealing with the history of the Multnomah County sheriffs, is a dead link. I was unable to find a current link to the article on Google or a search of the Multnomah Sheriff's Dept. homepage. Therefore I think the reference needs to go. The second reference is to the ID Watchdog homepage. While the link is functional, there is nothing about John Bunnell to be found. As I have seen him in the TV commercials for ID Watchdog, I am not disputing his relationship to the company. But since the point of the reference is to confirm the claim made in the sentence, this one doesn't do its job. Mantisia (talk) 23:14, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I restored the reference, it can be found via the Internet Archive. Just because a link is broken does not mean you should delete the reference. If you cannot find a current link the correct course of action would have been to tag it with either the {{Dead link}} or {{Failed verification}} template, not remove it. It is important to retain the citation source even if it is broken, for precisely this reason that it can still be restored. -- œ 22:20, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
