Sub-Trivia[edit]

I know a thing that is nowhere else on the internet, that is verifiable and true, but doesn't really belong in this article. One episode of the Alan Partridge radio series Knowing Me, Knowing You features a parody song called "The Smiling Bicycle of Amsterdam". [1] The song is actually John Baker's "Radio Nottingham" (which appears on e.g. BBC Radiophonic Music), with new vocals that are sung by Patrick Marber and Rebecca Front, who play Alan's guests in that part of the episode. -Ashley Pomeroy 00:02, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And how exactly do you know that? Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 16:13, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind; someone's added it to the article about Knowing Me, Knowing You. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 16:49, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The last 10 or so seconds of John Bakers New Worlds was used to make the classic Newsround theme tune. --62.24.167.51 (talk) 11:59, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
