Speedy Deletion[edit]

Virtually all sources are dead or self-published. A review finds the subject is likely not notable and the current article appears to exist for no reason but to disparage the person through links to associated companies — Preceding unsigned comment added by Icerat (talk • contribs) 08:55, 30 May 2011

Some sources may be dead now, but it is at least sourced, and it has been around a long time unchallenged. However, he may well be non-notable, but that's not a valid speedy reason. I think it needs a discussion at AfD rather than a speedy deletion - I'll do that shortly -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:06, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I came to this article out of a BLPSPS discussion [1] where the same person is being disparaged in the Juice Plus article using a self-published source. Appreciate it if you can look at that too. Not that this is BLP stuff too. It certainly seems to me to be an "attack" piece as it engages in OR/SYNTH to push a POV - ie that this person is somehow "corrupt". That is a reason for speedy delete, or at least removal of the controversial stuff. --Icerat (talk) 10:10, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, this is the second instance in the past week where Icerat has Wikihounded me on articles to which he had not contributed previously (Juice Plus was the other). Icerat was just blocked for edit warring twice in one week[2], then received two new warnings for edit warring on Network TwentyOne today,[3] and now he is wikihounding me on this article for an encore. Worse still, Icerat is still chasing this BLP red herring despite the fact that 6 editors have unanimously disagreed with him on the Talk page and two other noticeboards.[4] This user does as he pleases even when it contravenes consensus and WP rules. Excuse me? As I already pointed out, another editor pointed me to this article with regard the BLP issue. *NO* editors have disagreed about the BLP issue, instead the involved editors have ignored the BLP issue and bloviate on something different. Icerat has gone after two of the articles I had worked on in the past (i.e. Juice Plus and now John A. Wise almost immediately after his second edit warring block expired last week. Barrett MLMWatch article[edit]

Comment from Icerat is a blatant misrepresentation bordering on harassment (this follows on the heels of Icerat wikihounding me on Juice Plus and John A. Wise) and campaigning against me on an admins user page[5]). The issue has been discussed by several editors in the past week on the talk page,[6] RS noticeboard,[7] and BLP noticeboard.[8] No one seems to agree with Icerat's arguments on this non-issue, yet for some reason, he chooses to pin the blame on me even though I've played a relatively minor role overall in the recent discussions. Icerat is now under a 4 day block for edit warring. Hopefully, this inappropriate conduct won't continue if and when he returns because this nonsense really needs to stop.
