Copyright problem removed[edit]

The edit by Emmybarth on 14 December 2010‎ (20:18) replaced much of this article's content with copyrighted material taken almost verbatim from Thy Kingdom Come. The book's copyright page does encourage some kinds of sharing; however, this use doesn't fit the guidelines. The article copies parts of a section beginning on page 18 with "The elder Blumhardt..." and ending on page 20 with the hymn. Reverting is complicated by the many small but significant revisions made afterwards. I'm following the procedure described by Wikipedia's Copyright Problems Policy to resolve this. - Xxiggy (talk) 20:10, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have manually removed the copyrighted material. I started with the version before Emmybarth's and applied every edit after Emmybarth's to that version, unless the edit had only affected the copyrighted material. As suggested in Wikipedia's Copyright Problems Policy, here's a message from Wikipedia:

"Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you."

Jesus is victor[edit]

The phrase "Jesus is victor", uttered not by the demon but by Gottliebin Dittus, was originally of course "Jesus ist Sieger", the whole event haven taken place in Germany around 1850. Just to point out the historical accuracy of the phrase.--Hansung02 (talk) 17:37, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
