Fictionalized depictions[edit]

One of those TV crime shows (maybe "Law and Order: SVU"?) had an episode inspired by Joe Francis and his legal troubles, (thinly veiled by fictionalization and using a different name, of course). Maybe someone could document this and include it in the article... AnonMoos (talk) 11:32, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fugitive[edit]

I would suggest the the term "fugitive" is not an appropriate term for the lead sentence. Principally because, it is not what makes him notable. It also drops a controversial and vague term into the lead sentence without explanation, when it can, and is, adequately introduced and explained later. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:11, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why American entrepreneur when he is actually a convicted felon?[edit]

Isn’t the wiki title misleading given his criminal history? 2600:1003:B139:8EB7:2D11:64D3:26C8:F251 (talk) 00:29, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know what you mean by "wiki title". His criminal convictions are listed in the lead section. Cullen328 (talk) 00:31, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
