Untitled[edit]

A complete camp cornette section would be great. --Soxcesser 04:13, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How can you call this article complete? Camp cornette was an influential stable in the WWE with Vader, Owen Hart and Bulldog (among others). There is also no section on his NWA invasion into the WWE which introduced Dan Severn which in turn gave us the very horrible brawl for all.--Soxcesser 17:05, 24 February 2006 (UTC) I know but it still does'nt mean this should be deleted. --Rollinman 07:18, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Jim Cornette Banana Story[edit]

There is a well-known (in the subculture of wrestling) story about Jim Cornette and a banana. Does it deserve a mention in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.90.73.96 (talkcontribs)

The banana story should be recounted and vetted on the discussion page. Austinmayor (talk) 23:14, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Let's hear the banana story Dogggg123 (talk) 16:29, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ring of Honor[edit]

Why is there nothing in this article about his work in Ring of Honor? --82.2.161.171 18:49, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Check out Cornette's interview with Bruno Sammartino from the ROH Strait Shootin Series. I've seen a million Bruno interviews and this is the best one yet!Mfbinc 04:24, 24 August 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mfbinc (talkcontribs)

Smoking?[edit]

Does anybody know if he smokes? Cause the last couple of years on his shoot interviews and radio show interviews he seems to be coughing quite often. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.252.63.224 (talk) 01:07, 27 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

No he doesn't smoke Dogggg123 (talk) 16:30, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Southeastern Championship Wrestling[edit]

Why is there no mention of Cornette's brief time in Alabama with the Original Midnight Express, Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Rose

Cornette never worked in Southeastern Championship Wrestling. The Midnight Express(Condrey and Rose) worked in both SECW and CWA from 80-83. Cornette was actually in CWA at the same time as the Midnight Express in the early 80's, but was unaffiliated with them. They broke up in September 1983. In November 1983 Bill Watts had the idea to team up Condrey with Bobby Eaton, and make Cornette their manager. The team needed a name, and Condrey decided to reuse the "Midnight Express" name. So, Corny only became part of the ME over 3 years into the story.

Left OVW again[edit]

I've heard from both a podcast interview where Paradyse casually mentions Jim Cornette no longer being at OVW to http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/185027/OVW-TV-Taping-Report-%28SPOILERS%29.htm stating that Cornette is no longer there. I'm trying to dig up more on this so we can have a more complete picture of his 2nd tenure at OVW. This could have something to do with ROH being bought recently and maybe he's more busy with that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.238.208.92 (talk) 11:58, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request - Sex Abuse Accusations[edit]

There's absolutely no reason for them to not be included in the article, considering they've been addressed (and denied) by Cornette.

Jim Cornette has said he turned 60 September 17th and it still says he’s 59

There is a spelling mistake.

In the section between reference 6 and 7, the following sentence exists:

Cornette is a member of the NWA, Wrestling Observer Newsetter, Memphis, and Professional Wrestling Hall of Fames.

However Newsletter is misspelled. It should read as:

Cornette is a member of the NWA, Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Memphis, and Professional Wrestling Hall of Fames. 82.29.109.188 (talk) 21:57, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cornette-Russo "feud"?[edit]

It's not a feud if one person is obsessed, and the other person could not possibly care any less. Totally not encyclopaedia-worthy. 197.87.135.139 (talk) 08:56, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
