HLGallon, can you specify what section was a POV within the article? I'm frankly an emotionally univolved party in this conflict, so please enlighten me of what turned imbalanced in the text.Greyshark09 (talk) 17:08, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The British forces bombarded the town of Nizwa, the capital of the Imamate, and toppled the Ibadi theocracy. Firstly this sentence is, if not wholly inaccurate, very anachronistic. Nizwa was attacked once or twice by the RAF in 1957, but thereafter was occupied by the Sultan's Armed Forces. Placing this sentence in the midst of the events of 1959 distorts the sequence of events. Secondly, there is really no such thing as an "Ibadi theocracy". The Imam of Oman's rule was very much secular and tribal. HLGallon (talk) 18:00, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Good point, i did some copy pastes to form this article, in addition to adding some good material, i will continue editing it using this source [1]. Cheers.Greyshark09 (talk) 18:55, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Foreign vocal support (not material support)[edit]

Several countries vocally supported the Imamate while not sending weapons.
