Untitled[edit]

Actually Jean's last name was Carn without the E...and her husband was Doug Carn not Carne. The E was added later at PIR. Here's a little more about Jean: http://www.discomuseum.com/JeanCarn.html 213.39.176.55 17:21, 20 December 2006 (UTC)nomennescio == Much of this page is copied from allmusic.com 69.21.166.158 (talk) 08:03, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

The article currently reads as though written from a fan's point-of-view. For example, "Her voice helped brighten the group's first two albums," "her debut album… was a classy affair that merged the best of '70s soul and jazz with solid songwriting and tight instrumental support," "a stunning and classy remake", etc. are not corroborated with any sources. The only two citations in this article are for effusive promotional material, which I don't think can (nor should) be counted as third-party sources. The end result is a biographical article with only two citations, both of which are problematic, and the "Biography" section doesn't cite any sources at all. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 21:08, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I just want to point out an error. A sentence reads that she was born in Columbus, Georgia, then says in Atlanta, Georgia. This is confusing and obviously inaccurate. Please clarify. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JazzyDimples (talkcontribs) 01:27, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Name spelled wrong; should be Carn (no final E)[edit]

The correct spelling of her last name is "Carn" without an E. -- Numerous websites spell her name as "Carne" in error. Does Wikipedia REALLY have to be one of them? Please look at the covers of her albums. (Here is a link to one at YouTube, as an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8RN6za6etU& ) Please note: Her name is not only misspelled on this main article, but numerous one that link to it. Please fix this! (I just don't have time, or I'd do it myself.) Thank you! Charvex (talk) 10:48, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
