Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... This guy has been really active in the IT environment and is a recognized expert. --88.160.60.70 (talk) 14:02, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do we need to provide more reference or do you think the guy is not significant enough to be on Wikipedia?

June 9th 2014, I added more references. Any reference avialable of his work for TEN4Alsace? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JamesMcPeterson (talkcontribs) 14:09, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

Hello. The article in the Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace (DNA) entitled "Jean Georges Perrin à l’heure transatlantique" is the only reliable secondary source I have found centered on the subject of this article. The DNA is a local newspaper. I understand Jean Georges Perrin "has been really active in the IT environment and is a recognized expert" (I am quoting from above), but that does not seem to materialise in terms of general notability. He has co-founded or founded 3 businesses (+1 in November 2016?), but it appears the most successful was the first, which had 24 employees and a turnover of EUR 1,000,000 when it was sold (according to this). Am I missing something? Thanks and regards, Biwom (talk) 02:12, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, that JGP co-founded Pandemonium is unsourced and seems incompatible with his LinkedIn profile, so I have removed this information from the article. Thanks and regards, Biwom (talk) 03:26, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. @JamesMcPeterson: you have removed the notability tag without addressing the notability issues, ie that there is only one reliable secondary source I can find about JGP, and it is an article in a local newspaper. You have added authorship of 2 books, but these 2 books appear self-published and non notable. Thanks and regards, Biwom (talk) 06:48, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
