Footnotes[edit]

Why are their no less than 5 footnotes citing that Janie Jones appears on the Clash's debut album? Such basic, fundamental facts like that don't need a cite at all, let alone 5. It's nice that people like to source things, but why so footnote crazy, especially these enormous footnote templates that obscure the actual text of the article in the edit box, making editing difficult? It's kind of annoying. -R. fiend (talk) 17:16, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the bibliographies in References, added Notes section and removed 3 of them from the 1st paragraph. Hope it's better now. —PJoe F. (talkcontribs) 09:28, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
