Worldwide[edit]

"Worldwide" carries a much greater implication than "in another country" or even "in a country on the other side of the world". The term "worldwide" might apply to the fame of someone like Michael Jackson, but it doesn't apply to Jamie Fleeman. The reason why Jamie might appear in a publication in New Zealand is that New Zealand had a high proportion of its early migrants come from Scotland; in fact almost every family that I know from New Zealand that are not Maori are of Scottish descent. If the term "worldwide is going to stay, then better evidence is needed. Amandajm (talk) 14:00, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
