Continued removal of sourced content[edit]

Clayton is transgendered/transgender, whichever word is to be used. The unexplained removal of the word and the repeated removal of a very reliable source [1] without explanation seems inappropriate. Please either stop removing this content, or explain why it is being removed. Stating that someone is transgendered is very far from referring to transgender people by names or pronouns which disregard their gender identities. The article refers to Jamie Clayton as female, according to her own latest identification of her gender. You do not misgender someone by mentioning that their gender identity or expression differs from their assigned sex. This should not be considered as offensive. Wikipedia literally has a list of supposedly famous transgender people (including Jamie Clayton btw) and dozens of pages about them, which refer to those people as such. It might be a matter of privacy, but Jamie Clayton in specific openly talks about being a trangender actress. This kind of information might be relevant for her filmography, for example the role of Nomi Marks in Sense8, who is portrayed by a transgender actress on purpose. Jamie Clayton even called out some cisgender actors for accepting transgender roles on Twitter. - 15 June 2017 ~~Anonymous~~

The issue here is that it's not necessary to state that she's transgender in the first setence. It's like if the page said she "Jamie Clayton is a female actor" or "So-and-so is a 5'7" actor". It has (should have) nothing to do with her acting career, or give us any general information on her personhood. Bullshit. I'm currently watching Sense8 and was curious if Netflix was progressive enough to give a transgender role to a transgender person. I was looking up this Wikipedia page and was led to believe that this is not the case. A clear misinformation. I have the same issue as above, wanting to determine if she was trans while playing a trans character, and I too got halfway down the page with disgruntlement before finally coming across the info. It's relevant. She's (unfortunately) a rare role model and an example of something that ought to be commonplace in entertainment media, and it is not offensive to mention an out celebrity's transgender status. I think the article was undergoing a bout of vandalism around the time you commented on this. Refer to MOS:GENDERID if you are interested in learning about wikipedia's policy around pronouns for transgender people. Referring to a trans woman as 'he' can be read as intentionally rude even if you did not mean it that way, please try to be more considerate in the future. There is no need for a comma in a list of only two items[edit]

From the Wikipedia article serial comma: "In English-language punctuation, a serial comma (also called a series comma, Oxford comma, or Harvard comma) is a comma placed immediately after the penultimate term (i.e., before the coordinating conjunction, such as and or or) in a series of three or more terms." Note the condition requiring three or more terms. For some reason User:Skyerise has reverted my changes multiple times without giving a proper explanation of why it is being done. The sentence in question only lists two items, not "three or more", so my removal of the comma is correct according to the "serial comma" rule that User:Skyerise keeps (incorrectly) referencing. Now User:Skyerise has just used accused me of "comma trolling" ([2]), which is a dismissive and insulting description of my correct improvements to the article. These discussions should be kept civil and topic-related, not reduced to insults and accusations. I would appreciate it if User:Skyerise would actually read the explanatory sentence I quoted about the serial comma requiring three or more terms rather than simply reverting every change I make without consideration. I have now discussed this thoroughly on the Talk page for this article as well as on User:Skyerise's Talk page so any further unwarranted reversions of my edits will be referred to the dispute resolution noticeboard (DRN).
