[Untitled][edit]

Over the past few years, the senior researchers and academics in Toronto's science communication community have all tended to participate in some of the same conferences and symposia, particularly those relating to science policy, funding for science research, and science communication. I wish to be transparent, and therefore, I declare that I have met Dr. Jim Woodgett on two of these occasion. As well, in 2015 I met Dr. Woodgett in person, when he gave a seminar about science communication in the Biology Department of my university. He subsequently participated in a citizen science project based in my lab, which encouraged people to plant lilies and observe an invasive beetle. I recently discovered that Dr. Woodgett did not have a wikipedia page, but only a red-link, so have made this page for him, because he is an eminent scientist.
