Dubious[edit]

What is the source for the 1869 birth date? That would put him at age 2 at the time of the fire, which is contradicted by this page that says he was about 9 at the time of the fire. Mike R (talk) 21:24, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1869 per his obituary in the Chicago Tribune: "He was too young at the time of the fire (being only two years of age)..." (01/23/1925).Shsilver (talk) 01:04, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
