Fictitious unsourced material[edit]

Recently a lot of garbage and completely fictitious material about Conmee has been added. It is unsourced and untrue. For example, "In a true testament to his influence Queen Victoria passed one of only three such decrees ever announced - that all the flags in all the Commonwealth as well as all ships at sea should fly at half mast from the time of Mr. Conmee's death until his burial. The period was lenghtened by the desire for representative from all 22 Indian Nations to be present at the funeral. In a show of respect and tradition, the representatives would only use original forms of transport - horse, canoe, and longboat. The only other two individuals to be honoured by a monarch of England in this way were Admiral Nelson and Bismark. Sir Wilfred Laurier served as head pallbearer."

Who made this stuff up? Where does it come from? I can produce detailed accounts of his funeral and none of this is true.

This is a Direct quote or close paraphrase of his granddauter ( I also would like to see an acount of the funeral to disprove this atatement ) "ZZLEE" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.177.186 (talk) 20:30, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request for material[edit]

Would people plase sign their posts? The individual above claims to be able to produce detailed accounts of the funeral, and I (for one) would love to see it but I don't who it is.
