Children[edit]

It is proving quite hard to reference children of the marriage to respectable sources, but there are pretty clearly:

Leopold George Frederic Fawcett, army officer killed in 1917;[1] and
Alwyne Malcolm Fawcett, also an army officer, died 1933.[2]

I'm taking out the reference to a daughter since the Burke's Landed Gentry reference is possibly a confusion with Alwyne.

An obituary of John Freeman Norris K.C. (died 1904 at Scaleby Castle) suggests JFM Fawcett may have married again, but again the evidence may be confused. Not clear when he died, but the Balliol College Register ref may give a date. Charles Matthews (talk) 06:04, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
