Berlin, West?[edit]

West or East is important for his early years. Matthew_hk tc 09:09, 24 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

West, but I don't think it is important because the wall came down only 13 months later —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.151.171.119 (talk) 14:21, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It couldn't matter less. German Wikipedia is not listing West Berlin... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.50.91.210 (talk) 11:30, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

World Cup Record?[edit]

Are there any previous records of two brothers playing on opposing sides at a World Cup match? This is a rare event regardless of whether or not there are previous occurrences, therefore it is worth a mention in the main article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Merlin1935 (talkcontribs) 15:07, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Middle name - Agyenim[edit]

His middle name is Agyenim. Check here:[1] Jerome has four tattoos, including one that bears his middle name Agyenim, but there the similarities end. Agyenim evidently means The Great One in his father's native tongue of Asanti-Twi, and it is no idle boast.

frustrated[edit]

Is there any source for the claim that Boatengs father was "frustrated by the system"? Otherwise i will remove or rephrase that part, or at least remove it from the introdution (i don't really think the first part of the introduction should be about his father anyways). Greetings, Jon. PS Same accounts for the "airline hostess" part ;) Jonathan0007 (talk) 00:00, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why doesn't it state on this page, or Kevin-Prince Boatengs page that they are half-brothers and not full. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.76.228.100 (talk) 05:30, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jerome Boateng started out as a winger during his youth days[edit]

In this article, Jerome shares an interesting fact: he was a winger before being a defender.

"When I was 14, I played on the left wing for a Berlin youth team … Well, right up until our team showed up for a match in Sweden with our entire defensive line out with injuries."

Pretty much, explains the pace and why he was deployed as a right back at City. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.138.66.41 (talk) 02:42, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
