Removing large blocks of content[edit]

There have been several attempts to remove large blocks of content. The best approach is to discuss it on this talk page. See Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle.–CaroleHenson (talk) 22:31, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@66.117.80.92 I reverted your edits as you removed a lot of information and references from the article. Can I suggest you edit one section at a time and ensure you include reliable sources for each change. Knitsey (talk) 22:39, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Museum of Northwest Colorado[edit]

The second edit summary to remove content states: "These changes are an effort to clear up the verifiable false stories about Isam Dart. They are pulled from concrete facts that have been heavily researched and documented by the Museum of Northwest Colorado."

I am just finding https://www.museumnwco.org/blank/ on the Museum of Northwest Colorado, but I am seeing that the museum is referenced re: Isam Dart|Isom Dart in newspapers and other sources. Is there a specific source that refutes info in the article and it would be nice if the source says that this is new "heavily researched and documented" scholarship?–CaroleHenson (talk) 19:23, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I found the 1870 census record for Isham Dart in Texas. Because a number of sources cite the Museum of Northwest Colorado and there is some explanation in their article about discrepancies in his life story, I am going to make some changes to the article - with citations - and putting the discrepancies in notes.–CaroleHenson (talk) 20:29, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As an FYI, I am also relying on Jensen, who is a journalist in Colorado who had written quite a lot of well-researched articles about the state's 19th history.–CaroleHenson (talk) 21:04, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
