Sidewinders[edit]

During the rescue Doug says he has two sidewinders left. After he shoots down the leader he tells his dad he only has 30 rounds left.

I removed this part because it didn't flow well with the section it was in (well, not as well as anything flows in that section), and because the previous point about changing weapons loadouts and continuity errors covers this without going into excessive trivia. F-16 Weight on Wheels sensor[edit]

He also fires an AGM-65 Maverick missile while on the ground, which is not possible in real life - the F-16's weapon system is inhibited by a pressure sensor in the nosegear.

I removed this part because it simply isn't true. It is possible to release a munition from an F-16 while on the groud. There is a switch called Ground Jettison Enable that is mainly used for operational checks, but if left in the wrong position, may cause firing while the aircraft is on the ground. It has happened before, in fact.---edited by guest, 22:10, 2 September 2007 (EST) Interesting. BUT - is knowledge and training about the Ground Jettison Enable provided to pilots - or perhaps only personnel trained on loading and unloading weapons? Next I believe when the AGM-65 is fired/ released if first drop for about a second then the missile's rocket ignites. Unknown What would really occur if released on the group - would something in the missile prevent the rocket from igniting. Enemy Aircraft[edit]

They are certainly IAI Kfir C2/C7. Also im going to remove the "citation needed" tag in the statement about the USN using Kfirs to train.. they really used them and even got the designation F-21 Lion (Kfir in english means "young lion"). There is many pics of Kfirs in USN markings.. like this:
