The result of the move request was: page moved there is also consensus that Army Mutiny should be converted to a dab page and editors are free to create it at their discretion (non-admin closure). TonyBallioni (talk) 14:51, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"the Army Mutiny"[edit]

Although I do not contest the 2017 page move, it may be worth pointing out that, while obviously any mutiny involving an army (as opposed to a navy, gendarmerie, etc.) could be described as an "army mutiny", there may not be another incident named "the Army Mutiny". Perhaps in the Free State the name "Army Mutiny" served to distinguish it from the "Civic Guard Mutiny" of 1922. In any case, "the Army Mutiny" is the received name in the Republic of Ireland, just as "the Famine" means the one starting in 1845, or "the War" in the UK means the Second World War. jnestorius(talk) 14:33, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie Dalton[edit]

There is already an article for Charlie Dalton: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Dalton

Also, there is no evidence cited for him having been an assassin, nor being a member of the Squad. In his own account (linked on his page), he was an Intelligence Officer in GHQ. This is also what is all over his pension applications and service record at https://www.militaryarchives.ie/ and he is not listed in the names of the Squad in the Dublin Brigade records at that site. His brother Emmet is, though annotated "for one job only", referring to the armoured car job.

Since there is no additional (reliable) information here, I would suggest just removing this section and linking to his own page.
