Rebellion Album[edit]

At a performance I attended on July 18th, 2005 at The Downtown (a small club in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York) Inspectah Deck said that his album to be released in the "next couple of months" would be titled The Rebellion. (This is also the title of a bootleg "best of" collection that I've seen circulating on the Internet.) I'm new to editing, so I don't know if that's a good enough source or if anyone knows of a more reliable source.

Rebel INS[edit]

does anyone know the meaning behind the name "Rebel INS"?

It says in the Wu-Tang Manual that "he was the Inspector- that orignally came from Inspector Clousseau, the detective from The Pink Panther. And he was the Rebel INS, because that was his tag for writing graffiti". Rebel INS is also short for Rebel Inspector, which is visible mostly in the his logo where the mangifying glass over the word inspector magnifies the letters INS.

Note: This is my first attempt at anything on Wikipedia, if any of this is wrong, please let me know and I will change it accordingly.

Peace

Got My Mind Made Up[edit]

Inspectah Deck doesn't Rap on Got My Mind Made Up. He only says one line, which might be a sample, also I don't even know why they sampled him, he wasn't on the track at all.--Tainted Drifter 20:14, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I hear he was originally meant to be on that track Alcryt 09:20, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I heard he actually was on the track, but his verse got revomed last minute to save time —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supremeclientele (talkcontribs) 23:54, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

In all the Wu-Tang-clan music Videos, his name appears as Inspektah Deck, so i think saying inspectah Deck is misleading to persons who read the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.50.127.76 (talk) 20:58, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On his albums his name is spelled Inspectah Deck. I also thought it was Inspektah, but after checking the actual album cover of Uncontrolled Substance, it is in fact Inspectah. 67.244.17.151 (talk) 14:26, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Origin: Bronx, NY[edit]

I think this should be changed to Staten Island, NY. If it said "Place of Birth", then maybe Bronx, NY would be accurate. However, "origin" implies the origin of the rapper, and he certainly grew up in, and hails from, Staten Island, NY.67.244.17.151 (talk) 14:28, 4 November 2009 (UTC) The Bronx[reply]

Agreed and changed - the infobox now says he was born in the Bronx, but lists his origin as Staten Island, as he moved there when he was 12 and generally identifies with Staten Island as the article indicates. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.166.193.110 (talk) 11:22, 5 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, it says he was born in the Bronx and then says he was born in Brooklyn. That ain't possible man! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.74.23.118 (talk) 06:39, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Czarface[edit]

Shouldn't Czarface be a separate article? I think that they're officially a group and they've already released two well-received albums Tashi Talk to me 19:10, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree a separate article is warranted... no time to do it myself, at least not properly. The article existing at Czarface would need to be moved to Czarface (album) and most inbound links would need to be altered. Antepenultimate (talk) 01:25, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Tashi and Antepenultimate: FYI, Czarface and Czarface are now separate articles. If you could help make sure any references to the group or to the album are logical and grammatical, beyond just the links, that'd be great. It's been a lot of work. Thanks! Nice work JesseRafe, it's certainly a deserving topic and the arrangement of articles makes a lot more sense now. Thanks! Antepenultimate (talk) 23:57, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
