Rationale for this article?

This article has quite a strange-seeming title and the content seems quite personal and selective. There is already a page called Social exclusion, to which the term "social inclusion" redirects. Inclusion and inclusiveness are very broad topics, the usage and meaning of which are not restricted to organizational practices or disability values as on this page. In fact it looks like this page started off as being about organization inclusion (and all the sources seem to be about that) but has been rewritten as about disability.

On first impressions, the NPOV and sourced content of this page should be moved to a section within Social exclusion EverSince 15:44, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

I have moved the disability-centered version of Inclusion (value and practice) over to Inclusion (disability rights) so that it can be properly developed there. I encourage everyone, especially artists who are in-the-know on this kind of thing, to work on it with zeal and focus equal to that of any serious artist and activist. As for the Inclusion (value and practice) article, I have restored it to its previous state. I would hope that those interested in the subject of inclusion in organizational culture would do their best to improve that article far beyond its current state, since in my opinion, as an artist and a writer, the current state is just horrendous. :) Kiko 13:56, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

This article should not be deleted but it should be developed.

Firstly I don't think inclusion is the same topic as social exclusion or marginalization. The latter is a problem that needs to be diagnosed, and is often treated by sociologists. The former is a value that is becoming more pervasive in political discourse in several areas. If you google politics of inclusion you find articles about race, cultural diversity, gender, about medicine, about poverty and about disability - I think we need something that looks at this ideal as a shared value in all these discourses. I don't think inclusion in disability is a separate kind of inclusion from race or gender. If you want to find different kinds of inclusion there would be inclusion in education, inclusion in the economy, inclusion in politics. The article as it stands needs to be developed (I might do that after I have researched it a bit - I started my research in inclusion on Wikipedia).
