An interesting article abotu a clearly notable New Zealand artist. However, it seems over-reliant on gallery catalogues for some of the effusive descriptions of his importance - these are not entirely neutral sources are they? I'm struggling to find online sources that are more neutral - there is only a 104 word death notice in the New Zealand Herald, for example. Was his death reported in more detail - obituaries usually provide a balanced overview of someone's achievements?

The summary of his importance by the Museum of New Zealand may be a useful starting point. Sionk (talk) 13:52, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
