Music video[edit]

Can someone help expand the music video section? Underneath-it-All 23:10, 31 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I may be wrong, but don't two versions of the music video (European and North American) exist? —Eternal Equinox | talk 02:42, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure. I've never heard anything, but I'll look into it to see. Underneath-it-All 04:13, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the video on mtv.com, and it was the same one described in the article. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 22:08, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Really? I've seen a version of the video with Minogue standing in the centre of a white rectangular platform; she is wearing a white dress of some sort. I saw this version on MuchMoreMusic — perhaps it is the Canadian edition that is different? —Eternal Equinox | talk 02:18, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An alternate version of the music video isn't mentioned anywhere on any of Minogue's official sites or in articles about the video. The video that was played in Canada on the BPM network was like the one described in the article. I don't think I ever saw the video of MuchMoreMusic. Underneath-it-All 04:03, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose I was incorrect then. —Eternal Equinox | talk 20:39, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sound sample[edit]

The sound sample should be placed towards the bottom of the article. —Eternal Equinox | talk 01:43, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It should? -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 22:28, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well it shouldn't be placed towards the top in the lead section. That would be unusual. Is there an attempt to bring this article to featured status? —Eternal Equinox | talk 01:42, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's fine to be placed in the "composition" section because that section discusses the style of the song.. I think it's a good idea to have the sample close. And if the sample were to be placed in its own section, that would create extra section clutter in the TOC. About bringing this article to featured status... I'm not planning on nominating this soon.. but I will continue to work on it -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 16:46, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have nominated this article for FA status! -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:51, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Side info bar[edit]

Anyone good at nav bars? This one isn't consistent with the adjacent singles pages (e.g. footer font size) Tertiary7 00:48, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is actually with the other articles: the template designated for song pages is Template:Infobox Single -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 00:53, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're right. More work to do... Tertiary7 19:36, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Brought the infobox into line with the single template. Now the word sizes look better. Underneath-it-All 18:19, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dab?[edit]

When I saw this listed on FAC, I expected to find an article on the Bob Dylan song here (see Slow Train Coming). Given that the dab header already lists 2 other choices not including Dylan, shouldn't there be either a dab page here or a pointer to I Believe in You (disambiguation) instead of the current header? --kingboyk 13:33, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think so, because this is a common song title.. I will move this page to I Believe in You (Kylie Minogue song) and create a disambig. -- getcrunkjuicecontribs 02:30, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GA[edit]

I passed this nomination. Page easily meets requirements. Address the objections to the last FAC and renominate it! savidan(talk) (e@) 10:08, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Genre[edit]

Shouldn't it be electro or electronic or tech trance or something else electronic in the Genre section of the infobox? 60.230.2.29 02:27, 10 November 2007 (UTC)A Guest[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:KylieMinogueIBelieveInYou.ogg[edit]

The image Image:KylieMinogueIBelieveInYou.ogg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

GA Sweeps: Pass[edit]

As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. I went through the article and made various changes, please look them over. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. Altogether the article is well-written and is still in great shape after its passing in 2006. Continue to improve the article making sure all new information is properly sourced and neutral. It would be beneficial to further expand the lead to better summarize the article and to update the access dates. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I have updated the article history to reflect this review. --Happy editing! GA Re-review[edit]

GA Reassessment[edit]

This discussion is transcluded from Talk:I Believe in You (Kylie Minogue song)/GA2. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the reassessment.

After a quick skim of the article, it says several issues.

  • Both the live performances section and the Formats and track listings have no sources at all.
  • It appears to be using a fansite for several sources (kylie.co.uk). The site mentions it has no connections at all with Kylie Minouge, so I don't believe it should be sourced. Currently, five statements use it as a source.
  • Sources from getyourgo.ie, the kylie official website, and virgin.net are all dead or re-directs.

These leaves nearly half the article with either improper sources, dead links or not references at all. For these reasons, I think it should be de-listed. Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:07, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a good amount of time an no work has been done to improve the article outside really minor maintenance. I'm going to delist this now. Andrzejbanas (talk) 13:28, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
