– Since the IK Sirius article and the IK Sirius Fotboll were created in 2006, the football department has become a stable top-tier team, and the bandy department, in history more decorated, has remained a top-tier team. The two topics gives about the same amount hits on Google depending on language, on Google Trends, sirius+football and sirius+fotboll are steady above sirius+bandy. In Retriever Mediearkivet (Nordic countries news database) for the last twelve months, sirius fotboll has 4500 hits and sirius bandy has 1600 hits. To both measures, consider the name of the sport bandy is the same in English and Scandinavian languages, while football differs (fotboll in Swedish), and the status of football and bandy worldwide.
