Conserning the proposed delition, I'm not sure if Index Catalogue is considered a catalogue of high historical importance or not. The guideline mentions as example the NGC, and the project to correctly identify all of NGC catalogue also extents to IC too NGC/IC Project. Also, this galaxy has a redshift indepedent distance. However, I can't find anything to add that isn't written already in the NEDatabase page [1]. --C messier (talk) 21:07, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
