- Regarding "incoherency" - there were two or three minor grammatical errors which are now corrected (and which resulted from trying to stitch the article back together when Wikipedia didn't save properly).

- Regarding the "no meaningful content": the article references a source saying that one rock's most significant band's key songs was written at their first practice session. This is hardly a lack of content or history.

- The article also contains some long sentences, which may confuse a reader with poor reading skills, but dumbing down the entire Wikipedia to the level appropriate for an article on chewing gum is probably a bad idea.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.7.7 (talk • contribs)

- The song doesn't claim that it hopes a giant wave destroys America in a literal sense either. The line is "I'll support the NEW AGE, and hope nobody escapes" as in he would readily support an overall change to the country, not that he hopes we all die.

- WHAT is unsourced? The only factual claims specific enough to require a source are the track length (listen to the song: doh) and the claim that the song was written on a specific occasion, which is sourced. The interpretation of the lyrics, comparison to Ballard and the songs pre-figuring of London Calling are reasonable interpretation, again to be supported by listening to the work.

Image copyright problem with Image:The Clash UK.jpg[edit]

The image Image:The Clash UK.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. Intro riff[edit]

It sounds exactly the same as the one from "Pretty Vacant" by the Sex Pistols. Anyone if one was a reference to the other? They seemed to have come out the same year. It's used in the Me First cover of "Save the Best for Last" and that article says it quotes Pretty Vacant. Km9000 (talk) 08:38, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
