The[edit]

The OMIM articles are the primary sources of information about these rare diseases (the hyper-IgM syndromes). I'm a medical student. I'm working on summaries for the whole group of them. This could, conceivably, take years.Niels Olson 18:16, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Niels. Could you add some context for the lay person? As it stands the article is meaningless to anyone but an expert in the field. While information for experts is fine, ultimately this is an encyclopedia meant for all readerships. There ought to be an introductory paragraph for people who find this article and don't know what this is about. Thanks, Gwernol 19:13, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio[edit]

Changes made by Meraj tab82 in 2010 were copyvio from here. It would probably be a good reliable source, but as written was clear copyvio, and I have reverted to previous version. Yobol (talk) 23:23, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

say what?[edit]

I'm pretty biologically literate, and the opening sentence makes no sense to me. Really. Can anyone else read that?Sbalfour (talk) 18:38, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

what do think would make a better sentence?--Ozzie10aaaa (talk) 11:57, 27 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Description for layperson[edit]

It would be nice if this article included some information (or a link to other Wikipedia pages) for laypeople end up on this page. Kevink707 (talk) 20:44, 9 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
