Proposed merge[edit]

I suggest a redirect and merge to Adam Shapiro unless the article is greatly expanded with material that does not appear in the Shapiro article. At present, the reader would be best served by immediately being directed over there.--Wehwalt (talk) 13:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe Huwaida Arraf notable enough to warrant her own page. She was interviewed on NPR and cited in the New York Times after the Gaza Flotilla Raid. She is chair of the organization behind the flotilla. She has a long history of activism before the 2010 flotilla, including founding the ISM. Dkreisst (talk) 00:33, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So, not every person who is cited in the New York Times should have their own wikipedia biography. Additionally, we don't create a wikipedia entry for the founder of every single organization on the planet. Needs reliable sourcing, other issues[edit]

Virtually none of the "Family and Education" section is reliably sourced, and some parts read like a press release, others like a history lesson, neither of which is appropriate for a BLP. I am very happy to allow other interested editors to make the changes necessary to bring this page into line with BLP standards; if no action is taken, I'd also be willing to make appropriate changes myself.
