What does hybrid mean in this context?.[edit]

The article currently starts:

Hungerburgbahn is a hybrid funicular railway ...

but makes no attempt to explain what is meant here by hybrid. It means nothing to me. Can somebody explain please. -- Starbois (talk) 09:55, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
