Hugh C Hopper?[edit]

An unregistered editor added that C to Hugh's name in the introduction - I can't remember having seen that anywhere before. Any explanations? BNutzer (talk) 23:54, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The statement that he already composed for their first album is dubious[edit]

It would be more accurate so say that some of his material was used for the the first Soft Machine Album

"Why Am I So Short?" (Hugh Hopper / Wyatt), is an older tune "I should have known" with Wyatt changng the lyrics had already been recorded for demo tapes that were late relesed as Jet Propelled Photographs, and may well predate these recording.

"A Certain Kind" was a Wildeflower's tune and a Demo recording was later released,

Box 25-4 Lid, is credited as a joint Ratlegde Hopper composition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.27.207.97 (talk) 19:59, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
