Was Czernin's Father a member of the Nazi party?[edit]

In the 2015 Woman in Gold movie, the Hubertus Czernin character states that one of his motivations for helping Maria Altmann's case was to atone for his Father's Nazi past.

I have not yet been able to find any online evidence that Felix Czernin belonged to the Nazi party. Was that just cinematic license taken by the movie makers? 2601:283:4F81:4B00:85DC:8EB3:C845:FC56 (talk) 20:14, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
