Semi-protected edit request on 23 November 2015[edit]

Hi I would like to make a request to edit Hotline Bling and add when it was recorded and which album it will be coming for. Yours Sincerely 118.92.144.57 (talk) 05:14, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding text that has no support from published sources. You have been doing this for a long time, using IP addresses from Auckland. That kind of behavior got you blocked on 18 November, and you came seriously close to getting blocked on 23 November.
Going forward, you will have to find a published statement about when it was recorded, or that information will not be added here. You will also need to find a published statement about which album the song might become part of. Until then, your request cannot be considered. Talk[edit]

Just wanted somebody to check out link 1 (genre source). It's linking to a tumblr blog post. Doesn't seem like a verified source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.89.180.100 (talk) 00:57, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Album Cover[edit]

The song cover is most likely in the public domain, as it consists of entirely simple geometric shapes or text (1-800-HOTLINEBLING in white on a pink background). MB298 (talk) 05:38, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Flash & The Pan - Waiting for a train (HD 16:9)
They played it a lot in Toronto on CFNY back in the day. Hotline Bling sounds a lot like it.

Views From the Six? Or no?[edit]

It seems like every time I come back here you guys have changed your mind on whether this is a single from "Views From the Six". So is it? Or not? Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 11:44, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Length unnecessary[edit]

There should just be 4:27 (single version, retitled album/single version) & 3:49 (radio edit); not 4:30 (regular), because that one doesn't belong on a page like this! 180.200.159.37 (talk) 08:08, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
