Current usage[edit]

is often urban Māori referring to rural Māori people or styles as "hori". I haven't found a reliable reference for this yet. -- haminoon (talk) 01:35, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a 'Cultural Identity' section to the article which supports this current usage, as Māori youth now largely use 'Hori' in a positive context and have reclaimed it to some extent. -- Anewyorkercomic (talk) 00:16, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
