Grabbing this for review if that is okay. I look forward to reading this article as Voyager is my favorite Star Trek installment. I will have my comments up as soon as possible. Aoba47 (talk) 20:13, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please use Captain Janeway’s full name (Capitan Kathryn Janeway) when you first introduce her in the “Plot” section.
  • For the first sentence in the first paragraph of the “Writing” subsection, please change “for executive producer” to “by executive producer”.
  • I am assuming you will be creating a page for Lisa Klink in the future, but I just want to draw your attention to the red link. (This does not have to be changed for the GAN; this is more for your knowledge). Same comment goes for Eaglemoss Publications.
  • Remove the comma between “proposed” and “based on the Starfleet communication”
  • I would suggest revising the sentence in the lead about the reception of the show. As it currently stands, the sentence in the lead only touches on two critics and seems to imply that the article only uses two critics. However in the “Critical Reception” section, more critics are used. I would recommend you keep the first half of the sentence about the “status quo” critique, but I feel the section on the positive reception of the show should encompass more of the reviewers if possible.

@Miyagawa: As always, you have done a very excellent job with this article. I am very impressed with the amount of research you found for the “Production” section. Once my comments are addressed, this should be an easy and quick pass. Aoba47 (talk) 21:04, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Aoba47: Thanks, I've addressed those points. I haven't looked into Klink that much but since she was a producer on Voyager, I'd imagine that she should have sufficient sources to warrant an article. As for Eaglemoss, they published quite a few different magazines, so I'm surprised they don't already have an article. I always like expanding Voyager episodes, but they're usually quite difficult because of the lack of a proper full series production source (unlike TNG and TOS which each have several, and DS9 which at least has the excellent companion book). Fortunately with this one it was featured as a third of a book called Star Trek: Action!, which was intended guide to production that could be used by film students. Another third has been devoted to Star Trek: Insurrection, and another third to "Tears of the Prophets". The latter I expanded at a time I didn't have a copy of Action!, so I must get around to finishing it off. Miyagawa (talk) 22:21, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Miyagawa: Thank you for your quick responses. I really enjoyed reading the article and found it to be very informative. This is a definite  Pass. If possible, could you review the article I have put up for GAN? I admit is about a really stupid/silly topic (a celebrity wedding reality show, Shannen Says), but I wanted to try and do something completely different just to see if I could get it to GA level (or maybe even FA level). I would really appreciate it, but I understand if you would not like to do so. Aoba47 (talk) 22:25, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
