rename this?[edit]

Is Hoover-Drickamer Effect really the name? There seems to be no reliable sources using this name. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 11:00, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

response[edit]

I first found mentioned in the paper "The Role of Pheromonal Responses in Rodent Behavior: Future Directions for the Development of Laboratory Protocols" by Rebecca H Bind, Sarah M Minney, Sara Jane Rosenfeld, and Robert M Hallock, published in the Journal of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science, which is a peer reviewed source. I found it mentioned as the "Hoover and Drickamer effect" by them, and I abbreviated with a dash for brevity. This is my first experience with creating wikipedia content so definitely open to comments on improving. From what papers I explored, there hasn't been a lot of explicit replication of the effect under this particular name. Rehewitt (talk) 20:18, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
