Moto Guzzi V7/Ambassador/Eldorado/850 Probably redirect all these to a single-page history of this series. Main articles on each one later, if desired.
Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.

Looks like WP:MOS says: "Avoid putting links in headings; try to link the first occurrence of the word or phrase in the section text, instead." Since there are no previous instances of the years in the section text, and since there isn't an outright prohibition from doing so, I'm replacing the links to GP season years to assist navigation to the relevant seasons.--Uli Kunkel 19:39, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You obviously don't understand the importance of this guideline. It makes links with anchors overly complicated to produce. I'm reverting. If you have a problem with this, fix it to work with the guidelines that the MOS outlines. Roguegeek (talk) 22:44, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please clarify "It makes links with anchors overly complicated to produce."--Uli Kunkel 23:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I quoted the MOS above so there wouldn't be any confusion; if you revert without addressing how my quote above is invalid I'm going to have to consider it vandalism.--Uli Kunkel 01:46, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You may consider it whatever you want. Frankly, it doesn't matter what you consider it. Wikipedia policy is what defines vandalism and, thankfully, not you. Roguegeek (talk) 02:12, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
