Nothing to stop you from writing it. Contribute. Negativity is easy and cheap. --Falcadore 03:07, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I believe that the contents of List of Championships won by the Holden Dealer Team are not significant enought and should be merged into this 'parent' article. --Falcadore (talk) 05:00, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New HDT road cars[edit]

I think this article should mention the new HTD brand ([1]). Does anyone know anything about it? --Pineapple Fez 06:09, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Change tilte to Holden Dealer Team / Advantage Racing[edit]

The page is confussing because it list the team racing BMW and Fords.--Lukeblake (talk) 09:44, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It seems very clear to me. All you have to do is read the article to find out that the team continued on after the relationship broke down. That's the beautiful thing about Wikipedia, you get to read it to understand it. If the only thing you are doing is reading the Infobox then you don't seem to understand what wikipedia is for. And giving a wikipedia article two names would be far more confusing. --Falcadore (talk) 09:50, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mobil 1 Racing[edit]

Suggest that the Mobil 1 Racing article be merged back into this article. While I agree it does seem a bit odd having the Holden Dealer Team fielding BMWs and Fords, this is solved by piping, e.g. Mobil 1 Racing. It was the same team with the same ownership structure, just a different manufacturer. And as it was known as HDT for 19 of its 22 years, it makes sense to retain this name even though it was not its final name. Precedent set where the Kelly Racing article was renamed Nissan Motorsport rather than a new article set up when that team changed manufacturer. This article is really just a content fork.Crick12 (talk) 04:06, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, this article should then be set as a disambiguation page to Holden Dealer Team, Mobil 1 and Walkinshaw Racing. Impala27 (talk) 02:04, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

HDT "Monza" Monaros[edit]

I'm not sure what the section relating to the HDT "Monza" Monaro is all about. I cannot find any evidence to support the claim that HDT developed a Monza version of the Monaro in 2000 and it doesn't make sense chronologically (The Monaro V2 was not released until 2001 and Brock's Bathurst 12 Hour "podium" was in 2003!). My thinking is that the section should be deleted if it cannot be referenced. GTHO (talk) 08:43, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
