The 20th Century[edit]

I will change the following sentence:

"During the National Reorganization Process (started in 1976), hundreds of citizens were killed or "disappeared" by the de facto government."

to

"During the National Reorganization Process (started in 1976), thousands of citizens were killed or "disappeared" by the de facto government."

It is a well known historical fact that thousands died (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirty_War).

If this "hundreds" means that hundreds died in Rosario alone, maybe. But being the 3rd largest city in Argentina, I can seriously "guesstimate" that the term thousands also applies to Rosario.

According to research that can be found here, 350 people were "disappeared" in the Greater Rosario area between 1976 and 1979 (they were taken to the Centro Popular de la Memoria, mostly). Even if the figure were 3 times higher it would still be around 1,000, clearly not "thousands". The same work states that Rosario had proportionately less desaparecidos than other places, yet also a higher proportion of those were tortured and killed. —Pablo D. Gracias Pablo (o, mejor dicho: Arigato Gozaimasu)

I just wanted the clarification. Was it written for the whole country? Or just Rosario. You ovbiously cleared that up.

Thanks,
