Untitled[edit]

Users 67.blah and 209.blah: Your edits betray a massive pro-Bangalore POV. Here you have been removing anything that even mentions other cities, as well as well-sourced facts that happen to portray the fact that Bangalore was at times run by people who you don't like. Please actually read WP:NPOV, the article you are so fond of citing as justification, and recognise that your pro-Bangalore POV, however deeply-felt it may be, in no way constitutes neutral objectivity. This sort of behaviour damages Wikipedia. Please desist. --Bth 08:32, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:History of Bangalore/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The cholas of 9 and 10th century were known as the Chalukya cholas and were telugu speaking and most likely the Reddys of Bangalore.

Also, Bangalore and Tumkur were part of Morasu Nadu at least from the 14th century - a kannada-telugu speaking people.

Though Avati near Devanahalli is known as the place of origin of the Morasu Vokkalu, they had spread as far as Hosur as early as the 3rd century (as per the Govt of TN) - so the Morasu Vokkalu were in Bangalore since that time.

Please check these and incorporate.
