Hi Hervegirod, I've noticed that you've recently done quite an expansion on Hervé Pierre's page, specifically in the Theater section. I'm a bit concerned about the size of that section, to be honest. Besides the fact that none of the entries are referenced—so for all anyone knows, you may as well list all your favourite theatre plays and claim that Pierre acted in them in a particular year (not saying that this is what you're doing, to be clear)—the section itself is becoming a bit unwieldy. It is longer than the rest of the article put together, and leaves little room for mention of his film/television acting work, since it appears quite cluttered, at least at first glance. I don't think every one of Pierre's (or any actor's, for that matter) performances must be listed in a Wikipedia article. I would suggest paring it down to just a few, and perhaps trying to find a few references to support all the material on the page. What are your thoughts on this? To be honest for this section I translated and reformatted the equivalent paragraph which was in the French Wikipedia page for this actor. Many (but not all I'm sure because I did not check specifically for each one) are mentioned in the Comedie Francaise website, his agent website, or on a French website called lesarchivesduspectacle.net which aim is to be a memory of French theater representations. I'm totally OK to reduce the volume of this section though. It should be easy to find a reduced list with references either from the Comédie Francaise, his agent website, or the archivesduspectacle site. Hervegirod (talk) 15:30, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
