Herbert Druce, upholsterer[edit]

The date of death seems to refer to Herbert Druce, upholsterer, who was involved with the "Duke of Portland" estate case. I can't find any evidence that the entomologist and the upholsterer were the same person. [1] (the last item "Druce case recalled".) ghouston (talk) 03:42, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The death date for the entomologist seems correct. It's possible that they both died at the same time, or that they were the same person, or that the newspaper articles about the death of the upholsterer were mistaken about who had died. ghouston (talk) 03:55, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Druce-Portland affair is discussed in Druce & Co.. If the Herbert Druce mentioned there is the same person, they should be linked. ghouston (talk) 04:12, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They also appear to have lived at the same address, so I conclude (original research?) that they are the same person. [2][3]. ghouston (talk) 04:39, 15 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
