Closing public houses[edit]

The House of Stanley owned Nether Alderley according to Stanley of Alderley, probably until 1938 when it was sold by Edward John Stanley. — Joe Kress (talk) 02:57, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Arabic works[edit]

I think Stanley was invovled in publishing some Arabic texts, or at least one: Fiqh al-Akbar by Pazdawī. Anyone have any more info or references about this?--Aa2-2004 (talk) 19:10, 25 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
